The Sendai Airport looked like a total loss when we published a similar panoramic image back on March 20, 2011 (below). This new image shows that repair crews have been busy this past year. Flights are set to resume in mid-April. (MSN Japan)

We worked with a team from MSN Japan shortly after the tsunami last year. They produced some truely incredible panoramic images of the vast destruction that Japan suffered because of the quake and resulting tsunami. You can see their collected work below.
