A shower room in first class is pictured on the upper deck of an Emirates Airbus A380, after it landed at Manchester Airport in Manchester, north-west England on September 1, 2010. Manchester is the second airport in UK to start accepting the Airbus, after London Heathrow.

Q: Who says commercial air travel is awful these days?

A: Probably not the folks who can afford the $7840 for a first-class round trip flight from Dubai to Manchester.*

I'd like to see a picture of that bar area right after hitting a patch of turbulence. It's gonna be wall to wall olives up there!

An Airbus A380 of German airline Lufthansa rolls over a bridge after it landed at the airport in Schkeuditz near Leipzig in eastern Germany on June 1, 2010. The German national football team will use an A380 when they travel on June 6, 2010 to South Africa to take part in the 2010 Football World Cup.

    Airbus 380 = HUGE

I saw one of these for the first time on Friday, from the window of a 757 on the tarmac at Sea-Tac. It's hard to describe how big this aircraft is, but getting the scale of the cars and roadway in this picture really helps.
