Subscribe to RSSWow, look how little those feet are. You can tell by the color and translucency of the skin that this baby was not ready to be born. She weighed less than 10 ounces at birth. Today, at almost 4 months old, she was supposed to go home, but it turns out she's still vulnerable to infection, so she'll be in the hospital a bit longer.

Amillia was born after less than 22 weeks in the womb and is the youngest known surviving premature infant. She has been in an incubator since she was born and is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days.
