Subscribe to RSSWe news photo editors get pretty jaded to the daily flow of disaster photos. This photo of the "Human Slingshot Ejection Seat" ride stopped me in my tracks. Are these things safe? Can these bungee cords break? According to rideaccidents.com, two men were injured in 2006 on this ride at the same fair when one of the cords "shredded like confetti." Kudos to photographer Robin Loznak for capturing the moment.
