The contrast in the colors and forms in this image are incredibly striking. The heaps of unused clay at the artist's feet put into perspective the intense amount of work it would take to transform that shapeless heap into the detailed, sculpted figures. The few elements of color add a lot of interest too, though the gradient hues of the curtain seem a bit out of place. What do you think?
