Subscribe to RSSThis image struck me as interesting because its so reminiscent of battlefield images we've seen in the past from Iraq, but in this case the dust and sand enveloping the soldiers is part of the celebration of a mission accomplished. It's a nice, light moment in a place from which we see so many unhappy photographs.
