It seems as though most of the images that come out of Afghanistan are shot in areas that are brown, dusty, treeless and relatively uninviting. It's nice to see that there is at least one little corner of the country that looks to be green and peaceful.

As the security situation continues to challenge coalition forces, President Obama has announced that he is sending an additional 17,000 American troops to Afghanistan this spring and summer, adding to the 36,000 Americans currently in Afghanistan.
