Lebanese women walk at the main market , which is backdropped with electoral posters hanging on the buildings, in Tripoli, Lebanon Saturday, June 6, 2009. Preparations continue in Lebanon one day ahead of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

It's interesting to me that very few of these election posters have a slogan, message or even a name associated with the pictures. Is the population there more cognizant of who is running for office in their country than Americans seem to be here? Do looks matter?
