Just the frame remains of the six-story-tall statue of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, June 15 after it was struck by lightning in a thunderstorm Monday night and burned to the ground.

        I can't believe they are going to rebuild the statue. Did you see the fire this thing caused? If they rebuild he statue the church is practically begging to be burnt to a crisp. It's amazing the church didn't catch fire. That huge statue is a lightning magnant.
