Clean up workers sift through the sand to look for bits of washed up oil at night on Orange Beach, Ala. on Wednesday, June 16. Clean up officials have started sending crews out at night due to the extreme temperatures of the summer day.

By taking a 175 ft in diameter X 75 ft high airform with relief valves attached at the peak this airform lowered over the discharge will begin collecting the oil before reaching the actual hole. By maintaining the airform in place the oil will fill the balloon and be pumped into tankers.
