I understand the sin of personifying or humanizing animal behavior. But joy, sorrow, caring aren't exclusive to humans.
And I do see your point in this photo. As it has been captured, it appears he/she has a blissful expression on his face as he frollicks in the snow. Especially given how hot it's been in Russia these last weeks. You can almost see the thought bubble over it's head, "I'm so happy. Thank you thank you thank you."
However, for all we know about polar bear emotion, he could just be rubbing bird poop out of his fur. Not that polar bears would necessarily care about bird poop in their fur.
I live in Florida I know what is going tru his or her head the same thing that would go tru my head if i saw a pile of nice cold snow on the ground...... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cool Down Time!! and thats prob the same face that I would make too lol this picture is adorable in so many ways.
