Actor Danny Trejo of the film "Modus Operandi" poses for a portrait during the 11th annual CineVegas film festival held at the Palms Casino Resort on June 13, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Distinctive faces

Danny Trejo's scarred and lined face doesn't scream "Hollywood star." But there are plenty of actors who don't look like botoxed Barbie dolls these days. Who is your favorite star that doesn't have the typical Hollywood look ? See a slideshow of other stars with distinct faces.

The Lates - Charles Bronson, Vincent Price, Robert Shaw (The shark hunting boat captain from Jaws), Roy Scheider (Cop from Jaws)

There are so many! Unfortunately, not many in Hollywood go natural anymore. California should outlaw plastic surgery, except in cases of deformities and accidents. My guess is that many stars would simply drive their Bentley's into the nearest concrete structure to get surgery and free negative publicity. If California were to drop into the Pacific, they would be pulling stars out for the next 10 centuries. Now that's a lot of plastic!

Uhhhhhh...Vincent Price was sooooooooo very handsome when he was younger!!! He was terrific looking in "Laura." He was just plain hot in "Dragonwyck!"

Ahem! I'll stop drooling now. Sorry.

I'd have to say New Zealand-born actress Melanie Lynskey (who acted in such films as Ever After, Heavenly Creatures, But I'm a Cheerleader, Stephen King's Rose Red, and more)

Notice most of the unaltered faces are of men.  Sexist still.

Sarah Jessica Parker would be my vote. She looks pretty good, even with a few wrinkles under the eyes, I'd take her. BTW, I can't stand women with those damn slice marks under their cans. or with that freakish flat lip job you can see a mile away. Natural is in, so tell all your hollywould friends.

Russell Crowe; he looks like a real guy, the kind of guy you'd try and pick up at a local pub.

Definitely Anthony Hopkins. He was attractive in his 30's, but irresistible as he's aged.

I agree with the actors mentioned in the article. I agree with those actors mentioned in the posts above. I would nominate Jerry Stiller (Ben's father). Dustin Hoffman. Broderick Crawford (1940's Academy Award Winner and early TV police procedural Highway Patrol).

Bette Midler- She's not traditionally beautiful, but her joy and vitality just shine out of her face.

I am madly, passionately in love with Forest Whitaker - especially in his heavier days. Don't ask me why, but I think he's sexy as hell..

Where the heck is Susan Sarandon in this list?  She's gorgeous and aging naturally!

                                              So many come to mind.

Tommy Lee Jones, Charles bronson, and Clint Eastwood for sure. John wayne is another.

                                              Katherine Hepburn and Susan Serandon.

If Melanie Griffith would have not done that damned plastic surgery stuff, she would have been tops as she grew older.

Henry Danielle- Hands down the most loathesome Prof. Moriarty in any of the Sherlock Holmes films.

Linda Hunt-Brings excellence and integrety to every role, male or female.

Peter Laurie- Not a huge role in Cassablanca but so skillfullly done it set up the whole plot. Perhaps the first martial arts (judo) action hero as Mr. Moto. Very creepy in The Maltese Falcon.

Slim Pickens- Oh Yeah. Well I work for Mel Brooks. Had a small part at the end of The Getaway that really showed his chops
