A pet dog walks in toxic mud on Oct. 5, 2010 in the village of Devecser, Hungary. A mixture of water and mining waste containing heavy metals flooded seven villages around the town of Ajka, killing four people and injuring 120. Six people remain missing in Hungary's worst-ever chemical accident.

Poor dog. That land is now a chemical wasteland. Ground water is contaminated, soil is contaminated, plants and wildlife are contaminated. That's a no live zone!

The dog will not be ok...I just hope the dog dies quickly and without too much pain.

Poor thing. I agree, I hope it dies quickly so that it won't suffer.

I think you can give up on that dog. After being drenched in those chemicals, it'll be just a matter of time until it sickens and dies. Those people in that area of Hungary have so much to worry about they're not going to be preoccupied with saving dogs. Saving themselves and their kids will doubtless be their first and only consideration.

I agree Sharon this Dog will Def. not be ok walking around in Heavy metal Chemicals. But then Humans will not be ok either if they get this stuff into their systems. If this was my Dog Id have to take him outback and do the one thing that would make me cry for a week, GOD I LOVE ANIMALS ESPECIALLY DOGS THOUGH, and for those who think crying by men is weak Im an X 101st Airborne Trooper and theres nothing soft about us when our country calls. Just dont ever call me a Republican again. That was meant for some friends of mine. The RFP and ANTP and me will never see eye to eye.
