Happy Guinness World Records Day!

The largest shoe measuring 18 ft 0.53 inches and is 9 ft 6.17 inches high was unveiled by the Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in celebration of Guinness World Records Day 2010. The largest shoe is an exact replica of a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker.

Thousands of people around the world will  take part in unusual record attempts today in a bid to secure a place in next year's Guinness World Records Book.
