The Vikings call for volunteers with shovels - Minnesota answers

The AP reports that The University of Minnesota put out a call Wednesday for fans and volunteers willing to shovel snow at TCF Bank Stadium to get it ready to host the Vikings and Bears next week in place of the snow-damaged Metrodome.

The Vikings not only have to worry about clearing the snow, but also being 4,000 seats short for season ticket holders, a potentially "dry," beer-free stadium, and freezing temperatures for their game against the Bears.
