John Boehner caused a stir when he cried on "Sixty Minutes." I suspect history will remember this shot longer than the smiling photo we used on the home page. Did we make the right decision? Full story.

House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio wipes a tear as he waits to receive the gavel from outgoing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of Calif., on Capitol Hill in Washington, Jan. 5, during the first session of the 112th Congress.

WTF is up with this Boner guy? He cries at EVERYTHING!!!!
These are happy tears!
Must be taking some weeping pills.
He's not crying nearly as much as I am.
This just shows how unstable in what appears to be an alcohol, and abuse problems. As far as his poor, and hard childhood? BS!
I know I'd cry if I had to stand that close to Pelosi...poor schmuck.
You got that right! He is a schmuck!
For the sake of our leadership team, current administration and country he needs to get hold of himself!
The American people don't want the gavel to be handled by a sniveling wimp. We need strong leadership that can stand up under fire and not break down crying at the slightest mention of some half baked story about his crummy childhood. We all have our baggage! Deal with it and move on.
He must be going through man-o-pause. What a disgrace.
What next? Hot Flashes?
his crying at the drop of a hat is funny, they better invest in Kleenex for the house. Kleenex stock should go up.
This shows how power hungry these people are, what a pathetic excuse for a human being. He obviously not being emotional about serving people, he is emotional about the power he is getting.
I just love this guy - - he is the best!!! :) You keep being who you are and don't worry about the press (they wouldn't know sensitivity if it hit them between their beady eyes). Your heart is truly in the right place:)
What a crybaby! one in six americans go hungry, one in seven without health insurance, and one in ten out of work...and John Boehner's tearing up again about his own "miserable" life. He's like an elementary schoolboy crying for a teacher's attention and sympathy. Imagine what he'll be like when he FAILS to repeal healthcare reform!
This is an embarrassment for our entire country in the eyes of the world. I thought it was bad enough to be embarrassed by Sarah Palin's lack of knowledge of current events. Now this is too much. I hope he speaks as the "Speaker" better than he can control his emotions.
Anyone who watched the video of the passing of gavel, as it were, knows the man was scratching his damn eye. No tears were shed. Nothing like some liberal media arse-hole to claim different.
The man is obviously unstable. He cries spontaneously with little provocation and he does this frequently. Either he's suffering from substance abuse problems or his mental stability is fragile and unpredictable. The very idea of such a man leading our congress is frightening.
besides the fact that boener is an insulated arrogant piece of ____________. does it occur to the american public that senators and congressmen need only to serve one term in office and for the rest of there miserable lives
they get full pay at around 185k anually, of our tax money, in addition to endless spifs, complete medical health insurance, unlike the rest of us....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how can we sit idly by while these people live far far above the average retiree who may have worked all of 30 or 40 years for a company and have to scrape by on a social security check..., money we entrusted to these politicians, who have without our permission squandered it, and endure the lowest rung of medical and health care under the underfunded, mismanged medicare program.
how can our voted officals abuse our tax dollars so blatantly..? for there employment while the rest of us get dirt to live on and may have done more by showing occassional roadside courtesy than any of them have in there 4 years of ego driven deception and selfserving bantor.
they should, by there own volition, retire on social security like every other american citezen and be subject to medicare scandal just like any other one of us.....
how utterly insulting, even criminal that these "public servants" would lavish upon them selves such riches at america's expense...
i think i just puked again....
boener, like trent lot has no idea what its lie to live on 18k a year......
let the tea party complain about that abuse of tax dollars... and earn some real credibility.
