Preparing to fight: Young Afghan women at boxing training session in Kabul

Here's a selection of images AFP moved today by photojournalist Shah Marai of Afghan girls partaking in a boxing training session in Kabul. AFP reports that the young Afghan boxers, who are just starting to learn the sport, are trained three times a week with the idea of putting together a team that will fight in Islamic dress at the 2012 London Olympics.
