Yemeni women hold placards and a photograph of activist Tawakul Karman during an anti-government rally in Sanaa, Yemen, Monday, Jan. 24. Yemen's president blasted opposition claims of a planned handover of power to his son, describing such talk as "utmost rudeness" and insisting there will be no father-to-son succession in his country. Karman, who was arrested on Saturday for leading protests against the Yemeni president, was released Monday. Placards read in Arabic, "Arresting Karman is an unethical incident against the Yemeni Women".
