An organization that fights animal abuse is calling the slaughter of 100 sled dogs by an outdoor adventure company in British Columbia a bloodbath and police are investigating.

100 sled dogs in Canada killed after business slows

Vancouver radio station CKNW radio is reporting that the company expected more sledding business in an anticipated post-Olympics tourism boom. But the boom never materialized and the sled dogs were killed last April.

     Exactly!! poor dogs, they love us unconditionally and the only attention they get is to be slaughtered...terrible.  I hope they are awiting for those jerks when they meet again on the other side.

      i think they should round up all the humans responsible ,hook them up to the back of a dog sled and let the dogs pull them around till they are cold,stiff,and DEAD!

        People are over-reacting to this. As long as the business owners aren't hypocrites, I don't see the problem. Like for example if one of their kids doesn't get an after school job, kill them. Or if their elderly mother breaks a hip and doesn't produce as well as before. Blam! Disgusting behavior. Jail time for something like this, minimum.
