The promotional poster for AMC's "The Walking Dead", left, and E. Jason Wambsgans' "Abandoned" from Wednesday morning's storm coverage in The Chicago Tribune.

In Chicago Tribune, blizzard photo evocative of zombie TV

We’ve seen a lot of winter pictures during the last couple days. After a while they all kind of feel the same, but when I saw E. Jason Wambsgans’ photo, it immediately reminded me of the promotional image for AMC’s “The Walking Dead”. I wonder if Wambsgans is aware of the show and recognized the scene when he made his photograph.

The only thing these two have in common really is the road. Nice AMC plug though.

OH WOW AND LOOK. TRAFFIC. THAT'S REALLY SIMILAR TOO. Do you think maybe... this was planned or something? Man! Mindblowing!
BI like the only similarities are the bus and lack of person on the other road, but even irl that's not too uncommon. Or really in any evacuation of some sort.

zombies making snow men... any road leading to a city would look the same.... lol... i don't really see the similarities... where's the trees? anyways, i can make an intellectual comparison based on "life in precarious circumstances"... lol...

To be fair, sometimes at my blog I'll post something nonsensical and seemingly useless, also.
