Baseball umpire training camp begins in Florida

For those of us who suffer through soccer and football season, All Bello’s pictures of the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring remind us that the warm breezes and freshly cut grass of summer are coming. I look forward to sitting in the sun at my boy’s ball games with a big bag of sunflower seeds. I admit that I’ll probably disagree with and yell at the umps a little, but it’s not because I don’t respect the effort they put into the game.
