A man in handcuffs cries as he says farewell to his son after he was arrested by the police on suspicion of drug dealing during a pre-dawn raid in an impoverished neighbourhood of Bangkok on Feb. 25. The Narcotics Suppression Bureau of Thai police said their aim in 2011 is to stop the expansion of the narcotics problem in the country.

This is OUR fault. WE are the reason that other countries are fighting this ludicrous Drug War. Research and you will find the facts. Disgusting.

The REAL issue here is that this man (if it is true of course) has to resort to selling drugs in the first place in order to make some semblance of a living. Man, power and greed tend to be symbolic, complimenting eachother for ages, keeping the little people at bay both physically and mentally, like the lashing of the young elephant in the same state, keeping the will of the people down around anthill level, particularly under monarchy's and dictatorships. One day, and m a y i t b e s o o n, they will all have to answer to the real boss, God Almighty, the ultimate sovereign power. danboy524 aattggmmaaiillddottccomm

You can really see the saddness and fear in this mans eyes. I am curious as to what he has in his hand---looks almost like a wallet, bribe for the cop standing behind him? Considering how corrupt the legal system is there, I pray that child will be taken care of by someone

if all the government is doing their obligation in providing decent job to its people and making sure all their citizens are ok then this picture will never exist.. i am also a father and i know what it feels if you can't provide food to your family, you will think of anything and do anything, i'm just lucky that i had more option than this guy
