ok destroy a quarter million dollar car because something broke on it. This sounds like something a little kid would do when he doesn't get his way. Beautiful car tragic ending.

Beautiful, Beautiful car... Most people like me only dream of owning a car like this. I don't care how anyone treats or mistreats this car. No matter what you try to prove.... I'll still keep dreaming of owning this car. Lamborghini's are AWESOME!!!

I would like to have the smashed car. Surly there are some good parts that would fit nicely under my 45 Chevy.

To mcrich: That's correct, the strategy may not work, period, but I'm betting that owner feels very good right now. Back in 1960 I sure felt better after organizing a group of people to bash a horrendous 51 Chevy fastback into sand. We didn't make Walter Cronkite's evening news. But what happened there, as we all know, is GM's management continued undeterred on their mission to at any cost erode quality until the outfit was was as bankrupt as their vehicles. Sometimes it takes decades, but the chickens do come home to roost. Fifty years later, after all that drama, Quality is back and I'm looking at a Chevy again. We'll see.

Here's what I think gets you. You pay 200k for a car. Every 6 months you pay another 6k for what is in essences an oil change and lube. You take the the car to get new tires, another 3k. They tell you it needs an alignment too, okay how much? 2k! Ah,,, okay, if I pay 2k will that get rid of the clicking sound my 200k car makes when I go over the bump in my drive way? Oh, absolutely. Okay. hey, what's 5k for a set of tires? They are a year old anyway. It will only take them a week to get it back to you.

Get car back, go over same bump on the way home. Clicking is still there. Sigh... Back to service. Clicking is still there!? Oh, we'll look at it, call us tomorrow? Next day, Okay how about clicking? Well, we looked at it and we're going to have to replace entire steering assembly. Huh??? Car is 1 year old, has 5,000 miles on it. Oh, so sorry! How much? 10k. How long? 1 month. huh!!!! Part is made by gnomes in dark forest of Italy. Can't get it. So Sorry! Month later. Where's my car. Gnomes still hybernating, call back in a month. Cry..... Month later, car finished come get. Get car. Drive home, over bump, same clicking!!!!! Take back. GRRRRR!!!! Car still clicks. So sorry, look again. Oh, only nut loose. Want 15k back. So sorry, no refunds.

Spend 2k to have car fixed by guys with sledge hammers! Feel MUCH better now!

The owner makes too darn much money. Shame on him/her. He /she is self centered, narcissistic, conceited, egotistical and a total brat. All the owner had to do was right a letter regarding his displeasure at the bad service on his car. I am sure it was all just something tedious and insignificant. The owner is the type of person who just can't be pleased no way, no how. Too bad and what a waste of energy.

See, Lambos are going to built in China, so the fact that it fell apart after a year makes sense. The Italians are right behind us now!

"Lamborghini will move production of Estoque to China by 2012 and majority of the units will be sold in China itself."

What kind of statement does this really make? Only that the owner has too much money and no common sense. It would have been cheaper to fly a factory mechanic from Italy to fix it rether than destroy it.

Do you think anybody at Lamborghini cares what you do with the car after you buy it? Just like Doritos, "You keep smashing them. we'll make more"

I sell Pre-owned Exotic Cars. Lamborghini and Audi got together in 2003 and produced and build the Gallardo in the model year 2004 thru 2008. 2009 till now its the LP560 . Its one of the best Supercars on the Planet. I drove my 2004 Gallardo as hard as I could everyday for 9 months and sold the car. I never had a problem with the car. The guy probably didnt tighten his gas cap tight enough and the check engine light came on. I am sure it was something as stupid as that.

An unreliable Italian sports car? That's a shocker...

Lead paint in children's toys, sulfur emissions from drywall, seafood raised in raw sewage, are just a small portion of the shoddy products exported from China. And this guy can complain about a Lamborghini? Maybe somebody left some pasta on his seat.

All I can say is this guy has WAY too much time and WAY WAY too much of our money on his hands.

Here's a thought, go back to the dealer or better yet - contact their corporate office. Maybe ANOTHER dealer? I mean jeez, there must be 15 or 20 Lambo dealers in China. They have all our friggin jobs so they're obviously making all the damn money!!
