Subscribe to RSSNo matter which party you back, it'd be pretty darn cool to be visiting the Lincoln Memorial and to have the president show up. I can't imagine anything that would make a trip to Washington more exciting. I remember touring the White House when I was about seven years old and catching a glimpse of Ronald Reagan, and how cool that felt. I'm sure this young lady will remember her moment with the president for the rest of her life.

The press White House press awalys travels with the president. Whether it's scheduled or not they are always there to go on a moments notice. I like that he does things like this. I hope members of congress do the same type of things and we just don't here about it because they don't have a traveling press corp.
