Members of the Vicksburg Fire Department and county crews head out on a boat, past a partially submerged building, as they prepare to sandbag areas on the levee to slow down floodwater from the swollen Mississippi River in Vicksburg, Mississippi May 11. Water rises and water recedes, life goes on millenium after millenium. With the interference of the government many decades ago to build this country up sometimes it just breaks it down to a point where people just cannot resume normal life again. My heart is filled with sorrow for the thousands displaced by the flood. I pray they will rebound and go back to their land and rebuild.
