are you ready for 2012??????
Wow!!!
Just shocking pictures...
When you live in "Tornado alley" what do you expect? Their is an ancient proverb assoicated with farming, "you reap what you sow."
However, to put a religious twist or spin on this... wicked people say, "The God of heaven would never do such a thing." Yet, the same wicked people will hijack our holy Jewish Scriptures where our God, the God of Israel clearly destroys the those that obey not the laws of Moses. Likewise, they skip over that parts that say that all of the law of Moses is eternal. Another, "reap what you sow" aspect to their wicked lives. Repent and follow the law of Moses, cease believing in that false preacher and wicked apostle named "the apostle paul" who taught that the law was nailed to the cross and done away with.

If you come back and say... "sir, even Jews were hurt," then I will say...
They keep the laws of men, not the laws of YHWH found in the biblical writings.
YHWH, according to His covenant, watches of the city or town or community that pleases Him.
I say this in love. Repent and follow all of the Law of Moses and fear YHWH, fear Him hard and strong, because He will be more than glad to do more mayham upon those that never learn and will not obey Him.

I prayed against New Orleans and it was ruined. I prayed against Indonesia, because of the wicked faith of Islam and it was badly ruined. I prayed for... and it occurred, for YHWH hears my voice, for I obey Him and I pray in occordance to His laws.
Margel
What horrible and senseless things to say! Our God is a loving and mighty God who's mercy endures forever! Do NOT compare this horrible tradgedy to the wrath of God! He promised to never hurt his people again! To pray against people instead of showing and introducing people to God and his might, is a sin. Only God can judge, our minds are incapable of knowing or understanding his plans for us. Please pray for all people to show love, compassion, and service to all those in need. Amen!
Misty you just proved my point IF you read all that I wrote...
You seem like a "Christian" by the way you write, but I can't be certain, obviously. If this is the case you haven't read the words of the prophets at all - shame on you if you haven't. Read Deuteronomy 7 and 28; read also Leviticus 26; read also all of Amos 4. The things that I said are clearly what all the prophets taught.
Even if you believe in the New Testament, have you not read Revelation and other books? Revelation foretells the utter destruction of the wicked, by "God" Himself.
But let's pretend you are an atheist... these people still "reap what they have sown" for living in tornado alley.
Furthermore, you should know FULL well that the people of Joplin were praying hard and YHWH did not listen to them.
Ma'am, I'm not trying to be harsh in what I say, nor am I trying to be cruel. I knew full well that what I wrote would stir up the hornet's nest. But, the fact of the matter is, in my Jewish biblical mind, it is strictly because of the sins of the people for not obeying the commandments that this destruction has come upon them. Like I said above, YHWH surely did not protect those people, but instead, He allowed it to occur. That is just the same as doing it Himself, for He has the power to stop it and He didn't.
As far as your quote above where you say "He promised to never hurt his people again!" that is a crude misquote from the story of Noah that He would no longer send a flood to destroy the earth.
On the other hand, if people do what is right in His eyes and obey His laws that He set up long ago (which is His will) He will protect you, bless you, increase you and make you the head and not the tail. He will also bless you with wisdom so that you can make the right choices in this life.
"To pray against people instead of showing and introducing people to God and his might, is a sin." This is your non-biblical opinion... you need to look at the prayers of Elijah and others, they prayed for destruction against those that were not compliant tot the law of Moses. Read 2 Kings 1 for one example,
"Then the king sent unto him (Elijah) a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him (Elijah): and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I [be] a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And here came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty."
There are many more examples....
The facts are these... YHWH never changes His policies over time, nor His laws. They remain forever like Him Himself. His holy laws are His "will" and those laws display His holy character, what He likes and dislikes. Thus, all those that keep those laws are holy in His eyes. Those laws are easy to keep, for Elijah entered into heaven itself. Likewise, many Jewish folks received personal covenants with YHWH, because of their righteousness and strictness and frankness for telling people about their problems and sin.

Margel, You're a friggin nut bag...
The ten commandments are God's character and it does not include killing people. God is love and that does not mean bad things do not happen. As His coming draws nearer there will be more bad things happen but His people are in His care. For the ones that do not survive, God knows who is ready to go home with Him and who is not. According to our hearts He knows us. Everything is best left in God's hands. Margel, you act like you are scared of God and He is a loving God. It sounds more like something you would ask Satan to do than God. God doesn't need our instructions on what and what not to allow. Praying for people to be destroyed... What kind of faith is that??
WOW, Margel you are nuts, and need to seek help. How can you make this forum about your own beliefs and interpretation of gods teaching. I hope nothing ever bad happens to you or your family, what would you have to say to that. Terrible things happen, and we all have to have the faith to overcome them.
Lets think about the families who have lost everything, and pray for them. God is good, but bad things happen. Fact of life.
my prayers go out to those who have lost all of their material belongings and those who lost the most precious thing, life. God bless you all.
