Obama gets mixed reactions from Puerto Rico visit

Pro-Independence protesters march demanding the release of political prisoners in San Juan, Puerto Rico on June 14. Obama's one-day visit marks the first visit to Puerto Rico by a sitting U.S. President since John F. Kennedy's 1961 visit. The sign they hold reads in Spanish: "Independence Now".

Be Free. Let Puerto Ricans feel what it's like to have to apply for a visa to go to the U.S. like other Latinos. Every time a hurricane hits the island, who pays for it? The mainland Americans. We get nothing from them except a huge deficit from public assistance. When Cuba is free, DR & PR will have NO tourism. Get ready.
