McIlroy sets record 36 hole score at U.S. Open

Some days you just can't do anything wrong, or almost. Rory McIlroy had a ten stroke lead at one point in today's second round of the U.S. Open golf tournament. A double bogey on the eighteenth hole dropped him back to an eight stroke lead; he stands at 11-under 131, setting the record for the best score after 36 holes in the 111-year history of the tournament.
