McIlroy sets record 36 hole score at U.S. Open

Some days you just can't do anything wrong, or almost. Rory McIlroy had a ten stroke lead at one point in today's second round of the U.S. Open golf tournament. A double bogey on the eighteenth hole dropped him back to an eight stroke lead; he stands at 11-under 131, setting the record for the best score after 36 holes in the 111-year history of the tournament.

 Wow! like Tiger at The Masters in his early years. Can the kid hold up on Sunday? Will be the real test...one he has not yet passed at a major.
