Man attacked at gay pride parade in Russia

A man attacks a gay rights activist during a gay pride parade, which was unsanctioned by the city authorities, in St. Petersburg, Russia, June 25.

On a similar note, activism for the gay community in New York paid off when same-sex marriages were legalized in that state on Friday and will begin in July. Read more here.

Great job MSNBC. Just delete any comments that don't agree with your slant on politics. Next time, why don't you post some photos of vandalism to churches and temples perpetrated by 'gay' rights supporters. The 'gay' pride movement needs to be beaten into submission. Eventually, it will come to blows anyway since they don't believe anybody has the right to disagree with them.

'Gay' rights supporters also believe they should be able to teach the children of heterosexual couples according to their perversions in public schools. Believe me, what you see in this picture is nothing compared to what is coming if they keep pushing the assault against a parents right to shield their children from the sickening perversions of the so-called 'gay' lifestyle.

A punch in the face is the least of which they deserve.

first off where is your proof of gays vandalizing churches and temples? You fail to realize that many of us are Christians, Jews and people of other faiths - don't assume that we're out for the fall of religion or something- i f you would get out of the box you're living in you would see that we are just like everyone else - humans fighting to be treated fairly and with respect. It is obvious you are full of hate and i feel sorry for you. Where are your morals? my morals teach me to love my neighbor and treat others with respect. If students are taught about gays in schools it would be to teach kids about acceptance of others- this doesn't mean that they are being recruited. If you want to be all high and holy then you should be more worried about the crap your kids watch on tv - perversion? how about the music videos and movies that promote straight sex to teenagers and that i'm sure even younger kids watch- and the violence on tv? By the way, you have the right to disagree but we have the right to be treated with respect and live our lives as we see fit. I could care less what you think about my lifestyle but just get out of my face..

When will people learn that everyone is different. I am heterosexual, but I have no objections to gay pride rallies, parades, etc. I have had friends that are gay and bi-sexual. I see nothing wrong with them trying to be able to stand up for who they are. My son is being raised to realize that everyone is different, and that tolerance is needed--not violence. As long as someone is not pushing their lifestyle down your throat--and those that are having rallies, etc are NOT--then let them be...worry about your own life!

Sex with the same gender just doesn't seem normal. It's a different life style that just seems alien. Why do we all have to accept it through laws? What will be next? Laws passed accepting human and animal sex?
