Kulsoom Abdullah, of Atlanta, competes during the national weightlifting championships on Friday, July 15, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Abdullah is the first woman to compete in the championships while wearing clothing that covers her legs, arms and head, in keeping with her Muslim faith, after the International Weightlifting Federation ruled on her behalf that athletes could wear a full-body "unitard" under the customary weightlifting uniform.

its good and nice to hear that organizers accepted her code of dress.

also I think everyone should respect others culture. Associating majority with bad perception because of few people is not right direction. Moreover, when non-Muslims go on beaches of many Islamic countries  no one asks them to wear full dress. I've seen thousand of non-Muslim women in dubai and egypt wearing bikini at beaches etc. Muslim never say that why they are over exposing. but when it comes of non-Muslim they even interfere in Muslims countries. such as they say why this is in Iran why in KSA. Do western have nothing else to do other than their so called DEMOCRACY thing and criticizing other nations?
