People look at a Maaz Al Shami (Damascene goat), where the title of "Most Beautiful Goat" will be awarded at the Mazayen al-Maaz competition in Amman July 22, 2011. This is the first goat competition held in Jordan.

First goat beauty contest held in Amman, Jordan

I guess this isn't any different than a dog show.

Soooo.... are only FEMALE goats allowed to enter this contest? If that IS, in fact, the case - does that make the whole thing more or less disturbing? Would these unabashed admirers of barnyard beauty and ingen-ewes take offense to the idea of the same sort of contest were it to be held for MALE goats? Would these guys quietly whisper among themselves things 'Whoa...Look at the way those perverts are all staring at that RAM!!! - there's something really WRONG about that. Seriously - those guys are sick. I mean really SICK. They need help. (Ohhhh... hey Abdhul - check out the pink little udders on THAT baby over there! Boo-YAH!!! Oh Man - I could milk that sweet brown thang ALL DAY, you know what I mean?!?) "
