My mouth is still hanging open from Gadhafi's daughter's house with the giant solid gold mermaid couch sitting in her giant marbleized foyer. Unreal.
I don't think its solid gold, looks like its painted gold. There's real and then there's ridiculous.
I look at the family pictures that are being gone through...and I hope that the fighters don't destroy them. It isn't fair to ruin the memories of young children who have NOTHING to do with this.

what about house arrest and lawful search and seizure? If these were american troops everyone would be mad. These are just thugs with less money than Ghadafi.
Educate yourself on Ghaddafi's history and why this rebellion is happening before commenting on this subject. Ghaddafi and his children are lucky to be alive at this point. By the way..do you know what "spoils of war" means? American troops ransacked Hitler's Eagle's Nest retreat and not a @!$%# was given. The Libyan people are just taking their cut of the wealth that Ghaddafi and his family have been hording.

I agree with everything Anonymous said. I have no idea why people are being sympathetic towards Ghadafi...honestly, he's no better than Osama Bin Laden.
So let me get this straight... you're saying that you expect a rebel army consisting of people who have been living under the regime of an insane dictator should be expected to conform to the standards of the trained soldiers of the world's most advanced democracy? Well obviously we aren't that, because our education system would have done a better job of teaching critical thinking.... The comments here are really making me giggle.

I second that on the five color schemes. Neither harmony or contrast. Indecision, boredom, or a contest of will? Imposing something different on what's there, then saying to hell with it, I like puce. Chaotic before the ransack.

I didn't see anywhere that it was a solid gold Mermaid sofa. It could be goldtone paint over Plaster of Paris.
I like the comment about M hiding in the sofa, or what about behind that phoney bookcase in the other room?
I'll bet the sofa ends up in Obamas summer home he recently secretly bought in the Bahamas.
