Piazza Navona's famous del Moro (Moor Fountain) fountain in Rome, Italy, suffered at the hands of vandals overnight, Sept. 3, with two figures flanking one of the faces broken.

Vandals damage one of Rome's famed fountains

According to AFP:

Police said video cameras showed a man about 45 years old, wearing a dark top and jeans, climbing in the fountain and wielding a large rock, even decapitating some of the smaller figures.
