Residents battling eviction from Britain's biggest illegal travelers' site won yet another temporary reprieve on Monday as a judge granted them an extension on their injunction. Bailiffs acting for the Basildon Council local authority had been set to evict the Irish travellers last Monday, but a series of last-ditch legal moves have so far prevented the site being cleared.

I don't blame London wanting to oust them. "Irish Travelers" are typically an unruly, lawless bunch. I've seen documentaries that infiltrated their group in the USA and they're scary people. The ones in the USA hold "girl parades" where all the girls in the camp between 5 and 13 dress in sexy outfits and dance for the adult men (yes, even the 5 year olds) so the men can decide which one they want to "marry". Travelers "marry" their daughters to men in the camp at ages as young as 8, when they're expected to fulfill their "wifely duties" for the sick pedo.
This doesn't even get into the "paint your house" and similar scams they try to pull on non-"Tinkers". They consider their group the only thing in the world worth protecting and anyone on the outside is fair game to be victimized. These people are NOT sweet, harmless nomads. They're criminals who've chosen a vagabond life because it makes it harder for authorities to catch them in their crimes.
