AP photojournalist Ed Reinke dies in Kentucky

AP and the photojournalism community lost a gifted photographer and a mentor to many. I met Ed Reinke in Cincinnati where I got my first job right out of college. He was a great sports photographer, but also covered his community and Kentucky with a sensitive eye. Below are some of his pictures, including his Baseball Hall of Fame photo of Hank Aaron and Willie Mays applauding Ted Williams. He will be greatly missed.

AP has created a Facebook page with more of Reinke's photos.
