Israeli female settlers pray behind a barrier, Oct. 27, 2011, as they participate in a mass prayer against their government's decision to dismantle the West Bank settlement of Givat Asaf, northeast of Ramallah. Settlers are protesting and calling for a struggle against the Israeli government's decision to dismantle several settlements by the end of December 2011.

They're praying to God to stay where they slaughtered thousands of innocent Palestinian women and children?
Only women and Children? No men? I guess they need to stay and finish the job!
Interesting to see how some folks take a non-violent act, the silent expression of a political religious belief, and use it as an opportunity to bash. In doing so you totally overlook the fact that Israel is dismantling some of the settlements, even while the PA refuses to sit down and negotiate, and even while the Gaza strip has just finished up a week of rocket attacks into Israel.
It would be nice to see the PA make some positive progress towards peace talks, like coming and sitting down at the table with the quartet and Israel. This could be a terrific catalyst if that were truly their goal.
Well how would you feel if you were Palestinian and you were forced out of the home that your family has lived in for years so that a settlement could be built. Palestine had no choice but to go to the UN after peace talks have failed so many times and being under occupation since the late 1940's
Umm no. The Israelies haven't slaughtered anyone (in the past few centuries anyway). Stop passing lies around.
Couple of decades ago nearby countries of Egypt and Syria decided to pick a fight with the new kid on the block and enslave Israel. Israel not only beat them off, but kept land acquired during the war. That land was kept due to it's strategic position, specifically that a field artillary unit can raid death and destruction down on their capital from there. The Palastines who were there were NOT from that area. They were refugees from various wars and conflicts in the region, they were the people the nearby countries did not want. Israel is a remarkably tolerant country all things considered, many of those palestines are now living in Isreal as full citizens. Of course once Iran sponsored militant groups got involved things all changed as they start shooting rockets at schools, apartments and hospitals.
So seriously, what kind of @!$%#ed up thinking do you have to have to support a group of people who shoot rockets at school kids and hospitals. Then laugh and congradulate themselves on how many they killed.
Umm -- you can't just make things up as you go along -- see when you look at all the statements its so clearly brain washing. So you can't be the 'new kid on the block' and not have done something in 'last few centuries anyway' Those two are opposites...
Since Israel 'beat them off' and Israel loves to brag about how completely successful they are at winning -- how could anyone claim to try to 'enslave Isreal' this is a scare tactic but aaaa - only american jews believe it
If the Pales were not from the area then why is there documented villages and many homes emptied for European refugees.
How can land be strategic for Israel when it has not been beaten - they have defended themselves just fine without it
Talking about unwanted refugees from countries that did not want them sounds like Nazi Germany dummy
No talk of Israel for American eyes would be complete without mentioning Iran -- you know, we just need Israel so bad... We need to be so scared of iran
Blinders off people!
Reminds me of a Woodblock Print.
the Israelis never set off bombs in colleges, coffee shops, restaurants or pizza parlors, nor did they ever massacre thousands of women or children. All their actions were in response to terrorism. Get a clue, the Islamists are all terrorists...
May the Lord answer their prayers and restore to them their inheritance.
What do you mean they have only been there for a few years the Palestinians have been there for hundreds of years
