Yemeni protesters run for cover as gunmen attack

Thousands of protesters calling for the removal of President Ali Abdullah Saleh came under fire Thursday in the southern Yemeni city of Taiz.

For nearly 10 months, demonstrators have taken to the streets demanding the ouster of Saleh, who has responded by sending security forces to suppress the protests. Often times these confrontations have been deadly, and today's events were no exception.

13-year-old boy was killed and at least a dozen were wounded, according to AP.
