Eleven wedding couples leave the cathedral altar in Goteborg, Sweden at 11 am on Friday Nov. 11, 2011 after their vows. The eleven couples chose the date due to the symbolic 'value' of the date.
Eleven couples gathered at the Goteborg Cathedral in Sweden to be married at 11am to share the same wedding date of 11/11/11. Today's date has been hugely popular with couples, with back-to-back ceremonies happening around the world. In Las Vegas, couples were booking the date two years in advanced. It will be 100 years before this date comes around again.
