Brawl breaks out in Sri Lankan parliament

Lawmakers from Sri Lanka's ruling party attacked protesting members of the opposition inside Parliament on Monday.

The attacks came after opposition legislators held up placards protesting the proposed budget. Reuters reports that they were surrounded by ruling party lawmakers who punched them and grabbed the placards, resulting in a brawl.

Opposition lawmakers walked out after the attack.

What else to expect from a country that has no human rights, no freedom of speech yet talks very hight about democracy where as the respective president do not know the meaning of freedom and democracy.....hail the rulers!!!!
