The rig onboard PUMA's Mar Mostro failed in the southern Atlantic Ocean on Monday, about 2,150 nautical miles from Cape Town. None of the crew were hurt and the team have retired from the first leg of the race and are heading towards Tristan da Cunha, less than 700 nautical miles away.
