Reuters reports from BEIJING:
The number of new HIV/AIDS cases in China is soaring, state media said on Wednesday, citing health officials, with rates of infections among college students and older men rising.
The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued figures showing 48,000 new cases in China in 2011, the official Xinhua news agency said.

Boys infected with the AIDS virus participate in a classroom performance at a special school for AIDS-infected children in Linfen, in northern China's Shanxi province, on Nov. 30, 2011. Chinese characters on the chalkboard read "Hand in hand to prevent AIDS."
"The distribution of HIV/AIDS cases in our country is now wider and more scattered than ever, posing great difficulties for prevention and control efforts," Wu Zunyou, the director of the Center, said according to Xinhua.
The number of officially registered HIV carriers and AIDS patients in China is expected to jump from 346,000 to 780,000 by the end of 2011 after the data is updated, Xinhua said. Read the full story.

Free the one child policy; give peoples' right to have any number of children, regardless of any gender.
Hope that they have God-speed recovery.
China was free from HIV/AIDS until she opened the door to the west.
If China's health care industry had modern standards they would not be sharing needles and mixing blood at donor centers. these are the main reasons that hundreds of thousands of Chinese have HIV...
China's enviromental issues and spreading TB, should be enough reason for someone to NEVER enter your country...
HIV/AIDS cases were unkonwn in China before she opened the door to the west.
Likewise HIV/AIDS was first reported in Thailand in 1984 with the influx of falangs as tourists seeking cheap sex or long term residents, 1115415 adults had been infected as of 2008, with 585830 having died since 1984. 532522 Thais were living with HIV/AIDS. Thailand has the highest prevalence of HIV in Asia.
Thailand is one of the few countries with a DECLINING HIV infection rate, currently 1.3% of the general population. These are mainly concentrated in the IDU and sex trade community, which have 30 to 50% infection rates...
Like most MODERN countries that monitor their health issues. The numbers are higher than the ones that IGNORE the problem or out-right LIE about the numbers infected...
Washington DC has HIV infection rates over 3% and the MSM communities in NYC & SF are over 20%...
The IDU in the EU are reported to have HIV infection rates approaching 80%...
IMO - It is not the HIV/AIDS, it is the TB...
Tuberculosis is one of China's major public health problems. According to WHO estimates, China has the world's second largest tuberculosis epidemic, behind only India, with more than 1.3 million new cases of tuberculosis every year.[2] These signs of inadequate tuberculosis control can be linked to a malfunctioning health system.
Although disease-specific interventions are important, further strengthening of the public-health system will be needed if China is to halve the prevalence of tuberculosis and the number of deaths caused by the disease.

This specific disease is specifically spread as germ warfare by the White Pride Christian radicals, the Nazis. (Of course, many of them today do not label themselves as Nazi, because that would hinder their progress. But, they are Nazis.)
The specific branch of this group that's most probably responsible is the one in the United States.
As for people trying to blame China, and Thailand... Racists. Probably members of the group I'm talking about, at least at some low level. That or highly influenced by this group without realizing it.

Wow I hope your comment is sarcastic. Because I cant believe anyone would be dumb enough to believe that!
In my native country, the number of its people are decreasing and it is the big problem which had already started some years ago.
I have met some Chinese business people or some tourist in Bangkok. They are very aggresive and I had an impression that China will be much stronger in the next decade. I hope those who are infected by AIDS will be well treated by the government and and unforgotten.
China treats their HIV infected people, just like they treat people with dark skin and non Han's....
Some of the patients pictured look like they were infected from dirty hospital needles rather than sexual activity. The men in the class look like they may have took one to many aspren and got arrested.
this is a disease and it doesn't care what race you are.
I think the only reason so many people have aids is because the world is full of whores and sluts who spread it to whores and slut and I know I'm right because I'm always right this is the only way it is spreads
I love how even when the US media reports on a health issue like AIDS in China it has to interject some US propaganda in the story and not just report the news, the caption underneath the image of the Chinese drug addicts read:
"Drug addicts attend a class about AIDS during psychological treatment at a compulsory drug rehabilitation center in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, on Nov. 28, 2011."
if it was a caption of US addicts it would read:
"Felons convicted of drug possession attend AA / NA meeting"
But in China they are addicts (so you'll feel sorry for them), not felons like in the US (so you won't feel sorry for them), in China their being forced to undergo psychological treatment at a compulsory drug rehabilitation (so you'll feel sorry for them) , not AA / NA meetings like in the US (so you won't feel sorry for them) -which are mandatory meetings in the US for drug felons.
The media does not report the news anymore people, it tries to tell you what to think, and the message is simple: USA: GOOD, everyone else in the world: BAD. What we do is Right and what everyone else does is wrong. And if they are doing the same thing we are doing we'll just write up the story to sound like they are wrong and we are right.
In the US: "bla bla whoever is a: patriot, freedom fighter, soldier, etc.,"
Outside the US "bla bla whoever is a: terrorist, criminal, murderer, etc.,"
Give Bill Gates the problem as he enjoys sending his money over seas.
