Reuters reports from CAIRO:

Protesters clashed with military police in central Cairo on Friday after rumors spread that an anti-government activist was detained at a sit-in and badly beaten, in the worst violence since the start of Egypt's first free election in decades.

Police fired in the air after dawn to try to disperse around 300 demonstrators who said they were angered by images posted online of the man - named as Abboudi Ibrahim - being supported by a crowd, his face badly bruised and eyes swollen and shut.

The fighting continued and, by mid-morning, the area around the cabinet office and parliament was strewn with rubble as soldiers and men in plainclothes threw stones from the roofs of state buildings down on protesters, who hurled back rocks. Continue reading.

If only some rich Christian would put a Christian army together and the Vatican would make a worldwide call to arms. Set up right on the gaza strip with 1,000 and 1,000 of mersonary missionaries. Setting up churches, schools, military bases and cemetaries. Sweaping across the middle east, convert or be killed. Force, the only thing they respect over there, until islam is all but a bad memory!

Ahhh, we can dream can't we!

Very few if any of you Morons on this board, whether liberal or conservative, took the effort to research this further. If you did your due diligence you would know that this particular isotope can only be used in medical research and is in no way a smoking gun of any kind. It surprises me how easy you are to fool when it comes to Iran. I see you are headed in the same mistakes you made leading up to the manufactured Iraq War. Please don't let them fool you twice. Even Dubya said he can't be fooled twice.

Thank you Barck Hussein Obama. Job well done. Muslim extremists now in charge in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood stronger than it has ever been in its 50 or so years of existance. The MB more influental than it has ever been in at least 6 other countries. And, eventually, we will see the MB come to power in Syria. Job well done BHO!

Wow... that girl in the first photo is about to have a really bad day... along with that poor guy getting an a**beating worse than Rodney King in the third photo. Sometimes its just safer to protest on twitter or facebook then getting down in the middle of that kind of crowd. Makes you almost appreciate the cops that just pepper spray sit in protesters instead.

I pray for the woman in the picture and the man who is being beaten. As human beings, we have a God given right to voice our thoughts peacefully. I pray for their physical, mental, and emotional strength and their enemies to stop the violence.

We can all share some blame for this the problems in Cairo - US govt needs to stop propping up morally bankrupt tin horn dictators. This little game of loaning and allocating money then leveraging the funds to achieve their political and financial goals breeds corruption and deceit. Tahrir square is just a symptom of the ongoing unnecessary interference that we continue to pursue. Maybe it's time we reexamine our policies and stop sending these countries our tax dollars and start a new policy of non-interference with counties that are not posing a threat to our national security. Regardless of natural resources that the corporate backed leaders of our govt (or China's gov't) may want to secure for monitary reasons.

There's some kind of plot going on. Everytime we threaten to leave one of their war torn countries another

rebellion starts up. We may be dupes of the middle east warlords. The US seriously needs to shake the dust off our sandals and not look back.
