Good to see, now just feed your people. Cuase the billions on your nuke program was well invested!
Give it up! India has Pakistan to it's west and China on it's north; moreover India spends 2.5% of its GDP on defense whereas China and Pakistan both spend 3.6%!
Secondly, up until the 1970s, Indian scientists in the field landed jobs in the west. Today most of them are employed locally.
Thirdly, even if you are poor don't you secure your apartment, buy car insurance or a cell phone even though you can't pay for your child's college!
Wow, gives them a vaccine and declares themselves heroes...... Get the vaccine just to starve to death.... weird. Brian nailed it....... FEED YOUR PEOPLE.
Why is every idiot here telling them to feed their people and stop hoarding weapons?
They have radicals literally next to them (both west in the Mid East and east into Indonesia), and a massive Chinese crackdown in Tibet, just to the north of their border.
They are more interested in making sure terrorism doesn't spill like wildfire into their country. With the Mid East to the west, Indonesia to the southeast, and China to the north, there really is no other prime choice in funding.
guy from orlando: Watch who you call an idiot sir...... and it's secure your weaponry along with feed your people.... you goober. Ha!
Wow, goober. Haven't heard that one since 2nd grade.
Anyways, they dedicate their budget to lots of other things. India has a very high population, their government doesn't have the resources and time to dedicate extra attention over there, they have to dedicate lots of their time to patrolling their borders, watching for clots of Chinese soldiers or Islamic extremists firing from their neighboring country (that is in a political turmoil between their government and army).
As an Infectious Disease MD this is a big step towards eradicating the disease. Just imagine over 1 billion people, the logistics to get the vaccination to very rural areas, educating parents to get the vaccine, improving sanitation. Stopping a viral illness is incredible. Hats off to all those Doctors, nurses, social workers care givers and primary health facilities organized by the Government of India .Job well done I hope the disease is over!
