The Week in Pictures: Jan. 12 - 19

This week’s edit was surprisingly difficult. My favorite images are Mike Eliason’s picture of the dramatic car wreck rescue, Kevin Frayer’s picture of a man waiting in his underwear while a street tailor alters his pants, and Robin Loznak’s perfect visual joke of the chicken that crossed the road.

Fowl play in Oregon, a marathon sled dog race in France, a street tailor in India, a wrecked cruise liner in Italy and more.

Robert, I'm going with the same shots you like.

However, for some bizarre reason I can't vote in TWIP- how do I fix that problem?. So I'll admit I wanted to vote for Mike Eliason's car crash rescue pic, because I know him. I laughed hard and long at The Indian Outdoor Tailor, and who doesn't like a good Why did the Chicken Cross the Road joke?

An Eye for an Eye, I say.

    SBPhrog,

Thank you for letting me know that you're experiencing a problem. Can you give me a little more detail about your inability to vote? Can you not load the vote page, or does the page just not allow you to vote?

      Robert,

Thanks for getting back to The Old Phrog. What I get is this:

Your response cannot be recorded. For assistance please contact MSNBC technical support.

I cut and pasted it so as not to me remorse due to confusing paraphrasing.

BTW, I think it's because I use three computers and I get culled as Spam. Hope you can help me clear this up, I love to vote on TWIP. We used to vote in Eliason's class as a group and then get queried as to why we thought the shot rocked!

      Ribbit.
