As a veteran of Vietnam and the short skirmish in Panama I believe that these service personnel have every right to defend themselves and when demonstrators with the intent to do them bodily harm approach their compounds they should be fired upon with 12 gauge shot guns with bean bags and some rubber bullets to silence these crazies
It really is time to pull our troops out of that s--- hole and bring them home they are truly a race that deserves no protection from the US forces. Pull out and let them kill each other off hopefully
We need to concentrate on what Iran is doing rather than these ignorant (living in the past) uncivilized animals that still wipe there butts with their hands and then consume the foods of the day
I commented on another article that I don't believe it's fair to demonize all Afghans for the actions of these zealots.
That attacks on Americans are continuing despite repeated apologies over the unintentional burning of discarded Korans means the U.S. needs to deal decisively with violent protesters.
I'll leave it to President Obama and his military advisers on the ground in Afghanistan to decide how to handle the situation there and when to pull U.S. troops out. I don't think it's useful to blow the situation out of proportion over anger or revenge, no matter how justified.
Funny thing is, the CORRECT way to dispose of a Koran is to burn it.
The problem is these fanatics don't care about apologies. They don't care about reason. They care about nothing but for revenge. They don't care that the MUSLIM prisoners were desecrating the Koran by writing in it which is the reason they were thrown out.
