Thousands of student clashed with police during spontaneous protests against the public transport system TransMilenio, in Bogota, Colombia. Protesters blocked bus lanes and stalled the city's traffic demanding improvements to public transportation. The demonstrations, which began early in the morning, saw 30 people detained, smashed windows and automotive traffic chaos.

I wish the US had decent public transportation so we could give up our autos.
