President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron eat hot dogs as they sit in the stands at University of Dayton Arena in Dayton.

Basketball fan-in-chief President Barack Obama is giving British Prime Minister David Cameron a front-row seat to March Madness, taking his European partner to an election swing state for an NCAA tournament basketball game.

Amid cheers, the two leaders entered the University of Dayton Arena on Tuesday for a "First Four" matchup between Mississippi Valley State and Western Kentucky, a gesture of goodwill during Cameron's official visit to the United States and a way for an incumbent president to reach sports fans in an election year.

Takin' in a college basketball game, particularly March Madness, is probably a LOT more fun that sittin' in some goddamn stuffy room with a dozen aides and lackeys tellin' yer what you are supposed to be sayin' to the other guy.

Secret Service looks petrified, not so sure anyone looks thrilled; more nervous. And, do they really need to catch Obama and Cameron stuffing their faces? A little dignity for the situation? Maybe snap the photo pre-chomp? Just saying...

I don't see anyone that looks petrified, looks like people having fun, I know that scares some people but it happens randomly sometimes.

The crowd around Mr. Obama are not basketball fans, they are Secret Service.

Remember this - they, like FBI undercovers, CIA, etc, are not all the 6' blonde, blue eyed types. They're all ethnic and both genders. Oh, and guess what? I've seen cops and agents who were in their 30s who could pass for teenagers, and do in UC assignments in schools.

Most likely most of those within 3 seats parimeter are UC SS agents.

Where's Waldo - Where's the Secret Service agents? A fun new game for people of all ages.

yes! The big chick "ice grilling" with the Dayton sweatshirt. All she needs to do is spot something out of the ordinary, pull out her heater, and light some mfing drunk frat boy up! ;)

I am tired of this puke spoiling every sporting event that is televised. When we just want to forget this incompetent oaf and watch some basketball we get his face and ears all over our tv sets. This insecure misfit tries everything he can to feather his own nest. I did not invite this toad into my living room but as always he sticks his face into places where it is not wanted. I am going to research the sponsors of the NCAA game and quit buying their products. Enough with this idiot and anyone that supports or tolerates him.

It was amazing seeing him there, and you could tell how excited everyone in the arena was -- especially those kids who got to play basketball in front of him. What a thrill! I felt so bad for Mississippi Valley State -- losing a lead like that and missing the opportunity to win the first NCAA tourney game in the school's history -- but that will be an experience that none of them will ever forget. I just love this guy . . . and I agree that it's a beautiful photo capturing Americans of many stripes enjoying a college basketball game. Made my day.

I like the thought of him being an every-day guy that can take a bloke to a good old-fashioned American basketball game and enjoy the local cuisine. I agree this is much better than staying in DC and suffering through power point briefs with the British PM. And best of all, he saved the taxpayers money by watching the Mississippi and Kentucky schools, because he can now check the block and claim credit for having great concern for the people in those states in the tornado raveged areas in those states without actually going there.

Thoughtful decision making doesn't seem to be high on Southerner's priority list. The 'anybody but Obama' mantra ignores the tendencies of moderate Republicans, women, minorities and Democrats. Tough to win a General Election with just right wing conservatives and religious lunatics.

Interesting exit poll number, btw, that indicates that the vast majority of Santorum voters believe that Obama was born in Kenya!
