Police officers gather at the site of a shooting in Toulouse on March 19, 2012. A father and his two sons were among four people who died when a gunman opened fire in front of a Jewish school, the Toulouse prosecutor said Monday.
Msnbc.com staff, NBC News and news services report — A man opened fire outside a Jewish school in Toulouse, southwestern France, Monday, killing at least four people, including three children, officials said.
A rabbi at the school, identified as Rahamim Sabag, told Israel's channel two television that the dead were a 30-year old rabbi who taught at the school, the rabbi's five-year-old son and two eight-year old children, one of them the daughter of the school's principal, Reuters reported.

I just don't understand why people want to kill or terorize children..
what have they done wrong?
The children have done nothing wrong. The attacker is a coward who picked an easy target.
I suspect Iran is behind this.

A) Some of the soldiers killed were French Arab.
B) Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't the larget slaughter of the Jewish population in the past hundred years commited by people with primarily Christian backgrounds? And let's not forget the other 4 million people killed for being a different sexual orientation, from the wrong country, or strong enough to speak out against the madness and mob mentality that led to the Holocaust in the first place.
C) Hate is hate. Anyone who has enough hate in their hearts will cling to any percieved slight to justify commiting such acts.
As much as I detest "christians" for their amoral hypocrisy and murderous culture, you are incorrect. The Nazis were heavily invested into the Occult as it pertains to ancient German/goth cultures, not christianity. I know it seems the same but the "ultimate solution" wasn't derived from christian practices but from the believe that the German people were descendants of the gods. HOW do we stop all this killing? THERE HAS to be an answer. This is so saddening. PLEASE, there has to be a solution.

How is this different from the slaughter of chldren on the west bank and in Gaza?
To ThinkRodan...the answer is simple. The parents of these children aren't firing rockets into another country and the cowards who fire them aren't inter-disposed with non-combatants.
I agree with Pryzlok. This is sickening and so sad. The news is full of things like this; shooting schools/children, mother's letting boyfriends abuse and kill their children; bullying people to suicide! It is madness. I think it all begins at home. If your children feel worthless and are neglected, that is how they view the value of human life, like it's not worth much. If instead you show respect and love to each other and your children, they will know the value of life, living with others, caring, respect and tolerance. Please parents, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL!
Horrible, utterly un-Islamic, I am sure the enemies of Islam are behind it. A Muslim who is aware of Islamic dictates cannot commit this horrible act.
Do you think the terrorists that brought down the WTCs were aware of Islamic dictates as well? What does that matter? Get real and take off your burka so you can see clearly. I don't know who is behind this, but don't be so naive as to think a Muslim or Christian or whatever couldn't commit this atrocity because it is against their religious doctrines. Pahleeze.
I really hope that when they find this savage, they will just shoot him dead. I am sickened, not only by the tragic loss of these lives, but by the fact that 2 of these kids were babies. I have morphed from an unmovable belief in "due process" and "innocent until proven guilty" into a person that believes these monsters should be put to death. I feel this way about Gifford's shooter who killed and wounded so many innocents, and about other killers who cause so much damage and lifelong heartache. Just get rid of them. I think that's the new message that these sub-humans need to hear. My prayers going to the families of these people, and to the officials who need to find this wacko.
The world is filled with such confused people, and yet life has such simple concepts. Think about why all the bad things happen and how we as indiviuals can use our talents to contribute to growing the good and not stopping until the bad is defeated. I will pray for the families to receive strength, wisdom, and to keep the love and peace in their hearts.
Ordinary citizens in every country should NEVER be allowed to possess firearms, which should be limited to the military. But organizations like the NRA in the U S prevent this, so that there is a thriving market for the manufacturers of guns. The price we ordinary citizens pay, is periodic mass killings by firearms owners. When will the world resolve to prevent these killings ???
An easy death only suits the disgusted viewers, not the experiencers of the damage. The Romans had the "guts" to prescibe some very interesting, non-humane punishments to the victimizers. Granted, that was a less intelligent/developed world, however, we're now more 'with it'. Correct????

Different circumstances, same result--dead children at the hands of a gunman. We here in Chardon who just lost 3 of our own, send prayers to the French families.
Let's not forget that it wasn't too long ago that official government policy in much of Europe was that if you were a Jew you were liable to the be executed on the spot. My grandma and her 5-year old daughter were murdered there.
After the brave mfkr is executed, do the same to his family and anyone related.
