Wow! So many people will do anything for a front row seat! I guess i cant blame them? This issue is very important for so many! There are some thing that must be change to make this more comfortable for some, i agree! However; from what i understand of this Health Care Package, most of it is very good! I dont agree with the penalty/tax, whatever you want to call it, it has to change! I hope this doesn't take forever to get this passed, and voted on? So many people will be relying on this health care! Children/elderly, and the chronicly ill! It's unfortunate that so many republicans dont like this President, this really is a good deal, for the most part!
The penalty is how Obama is going to pay for a portion of Obamacare. The penalty does not give anyone insurance, it simply penalizes you for not purchasing insurance. The penalty also progressively goes higher yearly as you don't purchase insurance. Soon enough the penalty is less than the cost of insurance.
How are the people that say they can't afford food right now going to pay the penalty? They won't. Then what? Will they put them in jail? No. The government will than figure it out, just like you can't get blood out of a turnip, you can't penalize people money they don't have or won't acknowledge they have. Also, what about the illegal aliens? How will Obamacare stop them from abusing the "free" medicine they receive in our emergency rooms?
I know, too many questions and not enough answers.
Obamacare is an economic disaster waiting to happen. The CBO recently adjusted the cost estimates way higer. This is a power grab by the federal government to create another dependent class of welfare recipients.
It is NOT healthcare....It is mandated insurance... a payback to his insurance lobby buddies who loaned him millions in his last campaign! Got insurance? I do ! Premiums cost so much I can't afford to go see the doctor, because they will want a Co-pay before I leave...don't have it cause I had to pay the FFFing insurance premium....so as a result I DON"T GO TO THE DOCTOR....result...NO HEALTHCARE! On the brightside my insurance company is getting richer, buying more congress people...living the good life! I'm losing my home...walking (with a cane,I'm 59) cause I can't afford the gas and car insurance, my wife was just refused a needed bone transplant, by that same insurance company,(what forty years of paying premiums got US)......Healthcare...hell no! Retiring poor, losing my ass while paying some faceless insurance company...Thanks you elected millionaire elitist, worthless dumbasses!
