Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitz and workers remove notes from the cracks of the Western Wall, Judaism's holiest prayer site, in Jerusalem's Old City, on March 28. Rabbi Rabinovitz headed a team on Wednesday that cleaned out the cracks and made room for more paper notes that Jews believe are notes to God, ahead of the Jewish holiday of Passover which begins on April 6.

All the notes once collected will be buried in a special place at the Mount of Olives according to Jewish law. Passover begins in the evening of Friday, April 6 and commemorates the story of the Exodus where the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt.

Israel is the most dangerous nation in the world at this time. When the Egyptian authority detained the democratic activists in Egypt the US was outraged, but when the Israeli government assaults Palestinian activists the US is quiet. Its all right for the terrorists nation of Israel to assault activists by not alright for Egyptians to detain a couple of democratic activist. Then the US government wonders why the Arab countries don't trust or work with the US. The US policies have to be the same for Israel as any other mideast nation. Israel is so damn mad at Obama because he is trying to resolve our differences with Iran but the terrortist nation of Israel want the US war machine to start a war with another middle east nation. Israel love of war has to stop, it cost them nothing while the US poor die fighting for the Israeli, let the Israeli's die, maybe if enough of them die there will be peace in the middle east. I am sure we will see the First Strike by Israel to get the US military in action for Israel.

Gary, I want to point out one thing that is factually incorrect. The U.S. was upset with Egypt because Egypt was detaining U.S. citizens. The U.S. provides over a billion (maybe many billion, I don't recall) in aid to Egypt every year, so it is difficult to justify that when the government of Egypt was refusing to release U.S. citizens in Cairo.

I would expect that the U.S. would react similarly if U.S. citizens were detained in Israel under similar conditions, without cause. I'm not commenting one way or another about Israel's relations with Palestinians. However, the U.S. doesn't directly, publicly interfere with the activities of other sovereign nations. Well, not in general. Not recently. Anyway, my point is that the U.S. doesn't tell Egypt how to treat its own citizens, or neighboring countries, so the same is applicable for Israel.

Why do you think Israel has a "love of war"? And then describe your own country (sorry, perhaps you are Canadian, I don't know) as "the U.S. war machine"? Sometimes policy results in conflict and war. Criticize that, if you feel it is bad policy. But no one WANTS to die, and very few people, anywhere, EVER, had or have a "love of war".
